My Womanifesto

Bliss Ripple is a catalog of clues— fieldnotes for living into one’s internal bliss. Compiled through the creative works of poet, artist, musician, and mama Maggie A. Bishop, Bliss Ripple explores the idea of resounding joy— how to create it and expand it through living with passionate honesty.

Here you will find poems, songs, and observations written under the influence of inspiration Maggie finds scuttling and searching amidst the varied Missouri landscape with her wonder-son, adventurer Arlo, and her artist-partner and dream confidant Josh (who is also a photographer and music promoter).

Her

Create her.
Weave her from the pattern your soul has spoken forth.
Close your eyes and look to her’s, shining,
confiding.
She is there waiting.
No more hesitating,
this is the life you were meant for.

Flame ignites from a single spark.
You feel it in your heart,
the way it leaps when you think
of possibility.
Bring dream to reality.
Manifest destiny.

Create her.
Spin her from the thread of the divine.
Open your eyes and look to the world,
ripe with revelry.
It aches to evolve and you are
a catalyst of change.
An electric charge upon the waters.
Hear them crying out your name.

Initiator of life more abundant
for all,
to all,
give all.
And with all be returned to
exponential expansion,
the radiance of
unconditional acceptance.

Create her.
Unfurl her from the chrysalis womb of the Almighty.
Open your being to birth a vision, freeing,
through infinite seeing.
Sight purified through burning truth.
Passion wild, and unearthed.
A path laid intricate and winding.
Perfect, for it is your own
leading back home.
Where you embrace
the very essence of all
in One,
in You,

Her.
